Developing solutions for business travel in the ‘new normal’

The COVID-19 pandemic brought about many changes in travel behaviours. The uncertainties surrounding border closures and travel requirements made it difficult for both leisure & corporate travellers to plan their trips. In anticipation of the great travel rebound, companies in travel businesses needed to understand travellers ‘readiness, and general sentiments towards post covid travel and anticipate the kind of services they would value.


The Central Question: How should we refresh our suite of offers to be relevant to travellers in the new normal and reinforce thought leadership in the market?

Our team conducted a trend spotting exercise by engaging policymakers & travellers across 5 markets in APAC to identify key shifts. Insights from the study were used to guide product development and also shared with key stakeholders to stimulate thought leadership.
